Desiree Vaniecia

Desire Vaniecia is a Texas-based artist and educator whose work explores vulnerability, resilience, identity, and connection. Through stylized figures, bold linework, and color, she creates work rooted in womanhood, family, memory, and personal transformation. Her work is often inspired by the people and experiences that shape us, and the quiet ways we carry those stories forward. Born and raised in Dallas, Desire creates with the hope that people can see something familiar in her work and feel a little more connected to themselves and others.
