Hava Toobian

Hava Eden Toobian is a multimedia artist based in Dallas whose practice spans painting, sculpture, video, performance, and installation. Drawing on backgrounds in visual arts, anthropology, and archival studies, Toobian investigates how personal memory, collective memory, digital culture, and consumer objects generate visual signifiers that shape belonging and recognition. Her work explores the tension between shared cultural icons and secret, individualized cues to trace how meaning shifts across contexts. Toobian has widely exhibited her work at galleries such as PRP (Dallas, TX), El Khazinien (Beirut, Lebanon), Dallas College, and Kaleidoscope (Brooklyn, NY). She has participated in residencies at Triangle Arts Association (Brooklyn, NY), Kissing Booth Collective (New Orleans, LA), and Eutopia Artist Residency (Greece). Her work has been featured in Glasstire, KERA News, and Khabarkeslan.
