Jay Chung is a Korean American painter based in Dallas, Texas. Working primarily in oil, he explores the body as a place where memory, movement, and pressure accumulate. His figures emerge and dissolve within layered atmospheres, tracing the shifting boundaries between presence and absence, and between physical form and sensation.
