About the event
Daum Gallery is thrilled to mark its one-year anniversary with a celebratory art show featuring twelve exceptional local Dallas artists. This event not only highlights the gallery's ongoing commitment to the local art scene but also pays homage to its origins. Founder Taylor Daum initially brought together the Dallas art community with a four-day pop-up art show, “Dallas Artists Unite,” and this anniversary exhibition is a fitting tribute to that inaugural event. The opening night on Thursday, September 26th, from 6-9pm promises to be a memorable evening with Las Alamas Rotas, the celebrated mezcaleria honored by D Magazine, serving a selection of fine cocktails and wine from their bar trailer. This will be a fantastic opportunity to mingle with all twelve artists, who will be on site to discuss their work and share their creative journeys.
The art show will continue over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday, September 28-29, from 11am-5pm. This three-day exhibition will feature a captivating mix of paintings, photography, and sculpture, showcasing the diverse talents and perspectives of the selected artists. Each piece was chosen for its unique subject matter and artistic excellence, reflecting the vibrant and evolving art scene in Dallas. We invite you to explore the gallery, engage with the artists, and support the local creative community. For more information about the artists and their works, please refer to their bios below. We look forward to welcoming you to this celebration of art and community.
