Westward: Tin District brings together a dynamic selection of artists from the Tin District and Ro2 Art in a large-scale exhibition that highlights the extraordinary range of contemporary art being produced in Dallas today.

 

Presented by Ro2 Art in collaboration with the Tin District, the exhibition transforms a former industrial building in West Dallas into an immersive encounter with painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. More than a collection of studios, the Tin District is one of the largest and most intentionally developed artist communities in Texas -- a uniquely concentrated ecosystem of working artists, galleries, and educational initiatives that has become a significant force in the cultural life of North Texas.

 

The works on view reflect a wide spectrum of approaches, united by a commitment to experimentation, formal rigor, and highly individual points of view. Westward offers visitors a rare opportunity to experience the energy of this remarkable creative community and to discover artists whose practices are helping shape Dallas’s evolving cultural identity.
